Tatorte are very different from each other, over the years/decades and from Kommissar to Kommissar. I like the best of the old Schimanskis best. They are the Dutchest films in the series, too. Schimanski is located in Duisburg, and sometimes he is on the other side of the border. One of his Duisburger colleagues is a Dutchman, "Hänschen", played by a guy called Chiem van Houweninge. I don't quite see how anybody could prefer Derrick over Tatort but über Geschmack lässt sich nicht streiten. :-)

If Google Maps would give my name and my phone number for "Frauenkopfstrasse 27 Stuttgart" I would fight this, with a lawyer's help right from the first letter. (In the light of this I am just entertaining the thought that if you take all the stuff you know and read about Google, maybe they are a worse threat to what I understand by civilization than, for example, Al Qaida.) But I don't think I would need to fight it because I wouldn't be the first or the only one, and Google would be giving hell by people who are in a better position to do so. At least I hope so.
